The Old Watchmaker's Shop is a delightful one bedroom cottage, built around the end of the 19th Century by a watchmaker who moved to Cropton to sell his wares. Originally, there was a large clock on the side of the cottage which is now in the Castle Museum in York.
The living room features a smart TV, DVD player, a CD player with a digital radio and free Wifi. There is a comfortable sofa and armchair, a small dining table and chairs and, of course, a cosy log burner
The well-equipped modern refitted kitchen includes a dishwasher, has an eating area and opens out onto the back garden. The bathroom has a bath with an electric shower and a heated towel rail.
Upstairs is a spacious loft style double bedroom with views over the front garden.
Outside to the rear of the cottage there is a large private cottage garden with a table and chairs and a barbecue. The front of the cottage opens onto the front garden which leads to the parking area.
